Eating for your hair
Healthy hair is the goal in everyone’s hair journey. We have already reviewed the importance of using the right products and keeping a good regime; but an important factor people often leave out is the importance of eating in relations to hair development. The right foods give your body added nutrients that promotes hair growth and strengthens your hair from the shaft to the root.
Here a few important foods that directly promote hair growth that are actually quite tasty:
Eggs- specifically the “yolk” inside the egg is a great source of those aforementioned omega-3s, and they are also contain biotin (that most people take supplements for)
Salmon- is loaded with the strong hair supporters like vitamin D and protein, and it also contains omega-3 fatty acids that promote hair growth by keeping your scalp healthy.
Yellow Peppers- have nearly five and a half times more vitamin C than oranges. This is very good for your hair—vitamin C is an antioxidant that strengthens the hair shaft and hair follicles, as well as prevents breakage.
Sweet Potatoes- are full of beta carotene, the precursor for vitamin A and protein that promotes a healthy scalp and promotes hair growth.
Eating the right foods is good for your physical health and for the health of your hair. Ladies this a win/win situation there is no way you can lose.
